I wouldnt so much say we should be AFRAID of sin, because you actually become more knowledgeable of what fear itself is, it is a disabler, a seperator, you will not want to hurt animals or humans because you know the laws of karma, and because your heart becomes full of peace and love, and you simply do not want to hurt anything or anyone.
